Age - How old do I have to be to find a job in the UK?
Minimum age to apply for a job through us is 18 years.
Length of Employment - Are the jobs permanent?
All placements are for a minimum of six months.
Type of work - What kind of position can I expect?
Most positions will be front line staff in hotel and catering establishments, filling positions including waiting, bar, housekeeping and kitchen staff, receptionists, porters, chefs and management.
Wages, salary - How much will I be paid per week?
Most positions will be ruled by the National Minimum Wage. This is a two-tiered system, with one rate for those over 22 years and another for those between 18 and 21 years of age. For current information on the national minimum wage please click on the link.

Employer - Will I be employed by interconnections or their partner?
No. The establishment that offers you the job will employ you. We acts solely as a placement agency.
Lodging - What about accommodation?
The type and location of the accommodation will depend on the establishment. The majority of clients offer staff quarters on the premises. There are also clients that own properties in the area local to their establishments, which provide accommodation for the staff.
You will be informed, prior to commencing your job, what the accommodation situation is.
Work clothes - Will I have to provide my own uniform?
Again this depends on the establishment, we will advise you fully on establishment requirements once we have secured you a position. If a uniform is not provided, as a general rule applicants will be asked to bring smart black trousers / skirt, white shirt / blouse and formal black shoes.
Costs - Will you charge me for finding me a job?
