Living with a Host Family
Arrangements for Students and Trainees
Life with a host family is a social and effective way to pick up the language quickly and moreover provides insights into Spanish culture and way of life. All families are selected carefully and most of them have been known to the agency for a long time.
Costs:
It cannot be guaranteed that the host families’ prices will always be the same. It depends on the demand and obviously on the families. Consequently, the families confirm their price to the agency each time a booking is made.
Half-board: 450 to 500 Euro per month
Commission fee: 40 Euro, paid upon signature of the contract
The deposit of one month´s rent will be repaid upon the expiration of the contract once the keys are returned and the room is left in good state. In case of breach of contract, the deposit will be held back.
Host families do not always allow the use of their kitchen.
The use of the washing machine is guaranteed, but may cost a small fee.
